HABITAT SURVEYS 2013

Habitat surveys were undertaken on Catter Burn, Garnock Burn and the Endrick in May / June 2013 and made possible by funding available from Scottish National Heritage and from the assistance of the landowners and farmers boarding the burns surveyed.

Even this far up the burn, LLFT Director Keith Adams counted 5 parr in the small pool at his feet.

LLFT are now embarking on the control of non-native plant species.

This tree was about 200 yards upstream of the Potts last season. It may have to be removed if not washed down in a big spate.
